Vi är mycket glada över att kunna erbjuda både en föreläsning och en sju veckors kurs med Khenpo Pema i höst.
OBS! Både föreläsning och kurs sker via Zoom.
Venerable Khenpo Pema är anledningen till att föreningen bildades 1994. Detta i samband med att han var i Göteborg och gav en serie av föreläsningar på Göteborgs Universitet. Han har sedan besökt oss många gånger, och har många Dharmavänner i Sverige som uppskattar honom och hans sätt att vara och prata om Buddhas undervisning.

The Wisdom of Patience
”The enduring positive effects of peace, loving-kindness, and
compassion, and everything else that is good in human nature—its
values and ethics, its aspirations and goals—are possible only when
combined with the element of patience.”
Drawing on the teachings of Buddha, the virtues of patience, in the
length and depth of its meaning, will be presented as an indispensable
component of any venture, spiritual or mundane alike. It can be
learned and developed through specific and organic disciplines,
behavioral or lifestyle, and through contemplations and meditations.

fundamentally based on a solid foundation of patience”.

Spiritual Journey along the Path of the Bodhisattvas
Join with us as Ven. Khenpo Pema Wangdak offers a seven session journey into the life of a Bodhisattva.
This course presents a brief view into the brilliant insights as found in “A Guide to the Bodhisattva’s Way of Life” taught by Shantideva. The teachings of Shantideva are among the most influential, practical and guided teachings for the individual’s spiritual progress.
Everyone is invited. Each session will also include a short meditation and question and answer portion with Khenpo-la.
